Lotus Notes MailMan Error
Lotus Notes MailMan Error.
I got this “Lotus Notes mailman error” while sending an attachment
directly from desktop, by clicking on Send to => mail recipient. I use
32 bit Windows 7.
Reason:
This error occurs if you run Lotus notes client as an
administrator on windows 7.
Solution:
Run the Lotus Client as a normal user.
How to run Lotus notes as a normal user?
Find the notes.exe form C:\Program files\IBM\Lotus\Notes folder
Right click on that.
Click on compatibility tab.
Click on change settings for all users.
Remove the tick mark from run this program as an
administrator.
Click Ok to save.

During Sametime 8.5.1 installation, DB2 Installation failed
Sametime 8.5.1, DB2 Installation failed.
Installation Failed.
Installation Manager fetched 1 files (437.61 MB) during this installation attempt. You can keep these files to avoid fetching them again. Installation manager will deleted those files during a successful installation of this or any other package.
Possible reasons.
Use a Local Administrator Account to install DB2, not a domain account
While Installing DB2, it will create a DB2admin account. This account should be a local system account, not a domain account. Make sure there is no existing users or group name with DB2Admin.
Enter a complex password for the Administrator (8 characters With Alpha numeric and special character)

How to restore a deleted SSL certificate in WebSphere??
Scenario:
I created a CSR and sent to a 3rd party CA for Signing. I received the third party certificate, and then installed the certificate. Accidentally I deleted the certificate from cell default key store, personal certificates. I am unable to install the certificate again now. I have to restore the certificate. How Can I restore the personal certificate now?
Procedure
- Click Security > SSL certificate and key management.
- Under Related Items, click Key stores and certificates.
- From the Keystore usages drop-down list, select "Deleted certificates keystore".
- Click DmgrDefaultDeletedStore or NodeDefaultDeletedStore.
- Under Additional Properties, click Personal certificates.
- Select a certificate.
- Select Export
- Click OK.
- Perform the following:
- • Enter the keystore password of the deleted keystore. (If you have not changed your password it must be using the default password.)
- • Enter The alias to be assigned to the certificate (in the key store that will receive the certificate).
- • Select the ‘Managed key store’ radio button.
- • Select the key store from the drop down list that will receive the certificate.
- Click Apply then OK.
Note: If you have not changed your password for deleted key store, it must be using the default password. To Know the default password, hover your mouse over the password field until you see a '?' . That will show you the default password.

Got this error while creating a Vcard in Louts Notes 8.5.2.
How to resolve?

Check, if you have more than one address books in Lotus Notes. (E.g. A directory catalog) in the Notes preferences.
File -> Preferences -> mail -> Sending and receiving.
Cut those entries and only keep names.nsf
Now try to add a Vcard from more->preferences->Signature ->append my Vcard
Remember to add those deleted entries back after appending the Vcard.
